Why Accuracy?

Our Story

Since our founding in 2014, Accuracy Accounting has benefited and helped over 100 entrepreneurs and their businesses. At the very beginning, co-founder Ethan Markwalter understood the major shortcomings of the available accounting firms. Having the experience starting a business himself, Ethan found they did not offer the adequate services and time for what he needed. Instead, he wanted a firm that matched his diligence and determination as well as offering the most cutting-edge procedures. Moving forward with this idea, Ethan Markwalter sought the guidance and expertise of lifelong friend Ethan Trzaska. Soon after, the two friends laid the groundwork for a new modern accounting firm and thus, Accuracy was born. Guiding us forward ever since has been a series of basic principles; excellence, commitment, and innovation. These principles have and always will be the Accuracy way.

Our Team

Meet the Team
Ethan Markwalter
CPA, Co-President

After receiving his Bachelor of Accounting from Harvard University, Ethan Markwalter went on to acquire an MBA. Having 10 years of experience in the accounting sector, he truly is a master. However, an entrepreneur himself, he did create and run a small business called Analog Sound as a teenager.

Cody Schwenk
CPA

Hired a short time after Ms. Young, Cody Schwenk has been with us for quite sometime. He understands our mission better than the next guy. Studying at the University of Notre Dame, Cody lives and breaths innovation. In addition, to offering accounting services, he is also in charge of research and development.

Ethan Trzaska
Co-President

Initially a high school dropout, Ethan Trzaska bounced around from job to job just looking to get by. In his early adulthood, however, Ethan realized that he wanted to finish high school. He then went on to enroll at the University of Michigan and concentrate in marketing. He went back to school a few years later to earn degrees in both human resources and accounting. He is entirely committed to his work and plans to keep it that way.

Leah Marks
CPA

Leah Marks is our most experienced and knowledgeable accountant on staff. Not only does she have over 25 years of experience, but she has also worked for names like Apple, Amazon, and Tesla. However, after working for large accounting firms for 23 years she decided to make a larger difference. Since joining our team in 2016 she has benefited and grown Accuracy exponentially.

AiYi Young
CPA

Hired in 2015, AiYi was Accuracy's first employee. With over 10 years of experience in accounting she truly is master at her trade. Graduating from the University of Connecticut, she has first hand knowledge of the best and most accurate techniques available.

Bobby Lynch
Secretary

Our newest member of the team, Bobby has been quite the asset. Not only does he run and develop our online presence, but he is also an integral part of our day to day operations. Hired right out of college, Bobby is gaining the experience necessary to acquire his MBA. One day he hopes to be like his mentors, Ethan Trzaska and Ethan Markwalter.
